Starting from the next academic year, up to 10% of the grant quota in the relevant areas will be allocated to children from families included in the Register of Poor Families.
The autumn program includes such areas as in-depth study of Python, working on projects, and developing teamwork skills.
To participate in the course, only a computer connected to the internet is required. Participants can conduct classes at any time and at a pace convenient for them.
The course is completely free, registration is available through the link until August 15.
The course is designed for schoolchildren aged 14−17. The best graduates will be able to enroll in the Yandex programming school without competition.

Yandex Uzbekistan is launching a free online programming course for students aged 14 to 17.
The course does not require prior preparation and is intended for young people who have just begun to show interest in the IT field and are taking their first steps in programming.
The lessons cover the basics of the Python programming language. Also, a visual module called "turtle" teaches how to convert code into images and decorations on the screen.
The course consists of 8 topics, each module lasts from 1 to 1.5 hours. All tasks are checked automatically - participants can immediately see their results and track progress.
